When one observes the universe with the Hubble telescope, or goes out of earth with space shuttle, he can find that there are all kinds of gorgeous and mysterious nebulas in between the stars and he will realize that the stars are not alone. The nebulas, which is pregnant with the origin of life, suspend in the universe, seem to telling the story about the past, the present, and the future of the universe. Therefore, the concept of the nebulas is brought into the design of clock, to express the concept of inextricably linking between time and space.

In 2002, Tingting Su was admitted to Academy of Arts and Design of Tsinghua University, one of the best colleges of art in China, where she majored in Ceramic Arts and Design. In Tsinghua, she expanded her knowledge on the history of Chinese art and foreign art, developed her skills on ceramic design as well as drawing, painting, paper cutting, and sculpture. She received her bachelor and master in fine arts in Tsinghua University. As a designer, she has won many awards for her ceramic design including 3rd and 2nd prize in the 13th and 14th Chinese contemporary ceramic exhibition, honorable mention of household porcelain competition of Shandong province.
